Extends Albany County's authorization to impose sales and compensating use taxes until November 30, 2027.

This bill amends the tax law to extend the authorization for Albany County to impose sales and compensating use taxes until November 30, 2027. If Albany County imposes an additional one percent rate of these taxes, it must allocate and distribute net collections from this rate in the same proportion as it does for its three percent rate. The act takes effect immediately.
