The Harlem Renaissance Cultural District is bounded by 110th Street on the South, the Hudson River on the West, 155th Street on the North, and 5th Avenue on the East. The council may also designate additional regions of cultural significance, provided they are compact, contiguous, and have an identifiable cultural heritage. The act takes effect immediately.
