Establishes the NYS entrepreneurial training act to provide grants to eligible applicants to support and train entrepreneurial candidates.

The NYS entrepreneurial training act establishes a grant program within the Empire State Development Corporation to provide grants to eligible applicants to support and train entrepreneurial candidates. The program is formulated by the corporation and administered by individual participating cities and towns. Grants are awarded competitively based on criteria established by the corporation. A minimum of 20% of participants must be New York state certified minority and women's business enterprises, and a minimum of 10% must be veterans of the United States military.
