Allows enrollees of the New York State common retirement fund to request details of investment managers and contracts.
This bill amends the New York State retirement and social security law to allow any enrollee of the New York State common retirement fund to request a list of investment managers contracted with the office of state comptroller. Enrollees can also request the contents of any contracts and opportunistic investment contracts made by these investment managers. The term "opportunistic investment" includes private equity funds, hedge funds, and real estate funds.
