This bill amends the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law to increase compensation and maximum compensation for the boards of directors of off-track betting corporations. The chair of the board will receive additional compensation of $5,000 per year. Directors may receive $1,000 for each day or part thereof at meetings, with a maximum of $15,000 per year. Directors will also be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
