New York Senate Bill S06280 amends the social services law to exempt certain child day care facilities from state registration and licensing requirements. These exemptions apply to facilities that serve only dependent children of military personnel and are either located on military bases or federal property, or certified by the U.S. Department of Defense or the U.S. Coast Guard. The U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Coast Guard, or their agents may approve which children these facilities serve.
