Enacts the "Lieutenant Joseph Banish mental health act" to establish a law enforcement peer support program. This act provides confidentiality for communications arising out of law enforcement peer support counseling. It defines terms such as "peer support counseling program," "peer support counseling session," and "peer support communication." Exceptions to confidentiality include specific threats of suicide, expressions of suicidal ideation, threats of bodily harm or death, and information relating to the abuse or neglect of a child.
