Requires approval of salary plans for chancellors, presidents, and senior staffs of SUNY and CUNY by the Senate Finance Committee Chair, Assembly.

This bill amends the executive law to require the boards of trustees of the State University of New York (SUNY) and the City University of New York (CUNY) to establish salary plans for their chancellors, presidents, and senior staff. The board of regents must establish a separate salary plan for the president of the University of the State of New York. These salary plans must be approved by the chairs of the Senate Finance Committee and the Assembly Ways and Means Committee, along with the Director of the Budget, before they can take effect.
