This bill amends the insurance law to allow prescription refills to be filled fifteen days prior to their refill date during a state disaster emergency, excluding schedule II and schedule III controlled substances. The policy must include a process for insureds, their designees, or their prescribing health care providers to obtain these refills at the same level of coverage as a normal refill. The act takes effect immediately.
