This bill amends the tax law to extend the effectiveness of the occupancy tax in the village of Harrison until September 1, 2027. The occupancy tax, originally imposed by Chapter 507 of the Laws of 2016, is now set to remain in effect two additional years. The bill also includes a technical change, renumbering section 1202-dd of the tax law to 1202-dd-1.
