Authorizes Port Chester to offer a 20-year retirement plan to police officer Michael Sprague.

This bill allows the village of Port Chester to offer an optional 20-year retirement plan to Michael Sprague, a police officer employed by the village since January 7, 2013. Sprague can elect to be covered by the provisions of section 384-d of the Retirement and Social Security Law by filing a request with the state comptroller within one year of the act's effective date. The village will bear all employer past service costs associated with this plan, which may be amortized over a ten-year period. The act takes effect immediately.
