New York S05224 authorizes the town of Union Vale in Dutchess County to lease specific parkland to Homeland Towers, LLC for the placement and operation of a wireless communications tower. The lease term cannot exceed thirty years. Proceeds from the lease must be used for capital improvements to existing park and recreation facilities or for acquiring additional park and recreational facilities. If the leased lands cease to be used for their intended purpose, the lease terminates, and the lands revert to the town for public park and recreational purposes.
