New York S05028 amends the vehicle and traffic law to authorize distinctive license plates for individuals who have received the Army Medal of Honor, Navy Medal of Honor, Air Force Medal of Honor, Army Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross, Coast Guard Cross, or Air Force Cross. These plates will bear the words "Legion of Valor" and depict the individual's military award decal. The issuance of these plates will be free of charge, with no registration fee or service charge.
