This bill protects individuals who provide or receive legally protected health activity, including reproductive health care and gender-affirming care, from criminal or civil liability or professional sanctions imposed by jurisdictions outside the state. It prohibits New York state and local government employees or entities from cooperating with or providing information to any out-of-state individual or agency regarding any legally protected health activity. It also prohibits the issuance of subpoenas related to legally protected health activity unless certain conditions are met.
