Exempts the Metropolitan Transportation Authority from bond issuance charges.
This bill amends the public authorities law to exempt the Metropolitan Transportation Authority from bond issuance charges. The exemption also applies to the New York City Transit Authority, the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, and recovery act bonds issued by the State of New York Municipal Bond Bank Agency. The act takes effect immediately.
