This bill amends the labor law to increase the minimum wage annually in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties, and the rest of the state. The minimum wage in New York City will increase from $11 to $21.25 by 2028. In Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties, the minimum wage will increase from $10 to $19.25 by 2027. For the rest of the state, the minimum wage will increase from $9.70 to $19.25 by 2027. The bill also provides for the enforcement of the minimum wage and repeals certain provisions of law relating thereto.
