This bill amends the education law to authorize pharmacists and certified nurse practitioners to administer the mpox vaccine. It also allows these professionals to administer other immunizations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for patients aged 18 and older, provided certain conditions are met. The commissioner of health can issue non-patient specific regimens during outbreaks or imminent threats of outbreaks. The changes take effect immediately.
