This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to suspend the registration of a vehicle documented multiple times by a photo violation monitoring device for failure to comply with traffic-control indications. Specifically, a vehicle documented six times within twelve months, nine times within twenty-four months, or twelve times within thirty-six months will have its registration suspended for fifteen, thirty, or ninety days, respectively. The suspension begins ten days after the notice of liability for the relevant violation is mailed.
