New York bill S03756 authorizes the Empire State Development Corporation to pause, toll, or temporarily halt the Columbia University Education Mixed-Use Development Land Use Improvement and Civic Project. This project was adopted by the Empire State Development Corporation on December 18, 2008. The pause will remain in effect until the Attorney General reviews all aspects of the plan for compliance. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
