Exempts inland lakes with an area of 150 acres or more from wetlands designations, excluding the Great Lakes.
New York State Senate Bill S03656 amends the environmental conservation law to exempt inland lakes that are navigable waterways and have an area of 150 acres or more from being designated as freshwater wetlands. This exemption does not apply to the Great Lakes. The change takes effect immediately upon enactment.
