Establishes a twenty-five year retirement plan for firefighters employed by the division of military and naval affairs.

This bill creates a new retirement plan for firefighters employed by the division of military and naval affairs. Firefighters can retire after completing twenty-five years of creditable service, receiving a retirement allowance equal to one-half of their final average salary. Members in Tiers 1 or 2 receive additional benefits for service beyond twenty-five years. Members covered under Article 14 can switch to the twenty-five-year plan within one year of the bill's enactment. The bill also allows for creditable service from other firefighter roles and non-firefighter service.
