The bill amends the elder law to establish the expanded pharmaceutical insurance coverage panel within the executive department. This panel will be responsible for expanding pharmaceutical insurance coverage. The panel will consist of various department commissioners and will meet at least twice a year. It will promulgate program regulations, determine cost-sharing responsibilities, and develop outreach efforts. The panel will also post rebate program information on its website.
