This bill authorizes Lois J. Reid to reapply for ordinary disability retirement benefits from the New York state and local employees' retirement system for the period from June 19, 1992 through March 1, 2003. She must file a written request with the state comptroller within one year of the bill's effective date. All costs associated with the implementation of this act will be borne by the state. The act will take effect immediately.
