Provides a tax exemption for volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers in Westchester county.

This bill amends the real property tax law to provide a tax exemption for certain volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers in Westchester county. The exemption applies to real property owned by an enrolled member of an incorporated volunteer fire company, fire department, or incorporated voluntary ambulance service, or such member and their spouse, residing in Westchester county. The exemption is granted if the governing body of a city, village, town, school district, or county adopts a local law, ordinance, or resolution after a public hearing.
