Provides payments to rural hospitals designated as critical access hospitals in New York.
This bill amends the public health law to establish payment rates for services provided by rural hospitals designated as critical access hospitals. Effective April 1, 2027, these rates will be set at 101% of the reasonable costs for diagnostic, treatment, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and referred ambulatory services. The implementation of these provisions is contingent upon an appropriation.
