This bill amends the public health law to require a parent, guardian, or person in a parental relation to be physically present when any immunization is administered to a child under the age of 18. Exceptions include cases where the child is an emancipated minor, living separately from parents, a runaway or homeless youth, enrolled in a crisis services program, or receiving services from the Office of Children and Family Services. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
