This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to allow any resident of New York to request a distinctive "YMCA member" license plate. The distinctive plate will be issued upon proof of YMCA membership and payment of the regular registration fee plus an additional annual service charge of $25. The annual service charge will be deposited into the New York State YMCA foundation fund, which is established under the state finance law. The fund will consist of all revenues from the distinctive license plates and any other moneys appropriated or transferred to it.
