Amends the definition of the metropolitan commuter transportation district for the metropolitan commuter transportation mobility tax and requires.

This bill amends the definition of the metropolitan commuter transportation district for the purposes of the metropolitan commuter transportation mobility tax, excluding six towns in Suffolk County. It also mandates the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to renegotiate the joint service operating agreement with the state of Connecticut by March 31, 2027. The renegotiation aims to ensure fare increases sustain equivalent fare levels and to base Connecticut operating deficit subsidy payments on Connecticut resident utilization of the Metro-North Commuter Railroad and New York City Transit.
