Establishes per diem rates for inpatient services at exempt extended neoplastic disease care hospitals.

The bill amends the public health law to set per diem rates for inpatient services provided by facilities designated by the federal Department of Health and Human Services as exempt extended neoplastic disease care hospitals. These rates are to be determined based on 2023 operating costs, adjusted for inflation and other factors as deemed appropriate by the commissioner of health. The rates will be updated no less frequently than every three years, with hospitals required to submit additional data as needed. The changes take effect April 1, 2025.
