Revokes or suspends firearm licenses when a temporary or permanent protection order is issued or violated.
New York S03097 amends the penal law to revoke or suspend a license to carry or possess a firearm if a temporary order of protection or an order of protection has been issued, or if such an order has been willfully violated. The law applies to all licenses except those issued under section 400.01 of the penal law. This act takes effect immediately.
