Student loan servicers must report private education debt information to the superintendent.
New York S02680 requires student loan servicers to submit an annual report to the superintendent. The report must list all private education creditors associated with the debts serviced by the student loan servicer that are owed by persons who resided in New York during the prior calendar year. It must also include additional information for each private education creditor reported.
