New York State Senate bill S02622 repeals congestion pricing in New York City (Part A), increases the membership of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) from sixteen to seventeen members (Part B), and mandates the appointment of one member from each of New York City's five boroughs on the written recommendation of the mayor (Part B). It also directs the MTA to contract with a certified public accounting firm for an independent, comprehensive, forensic audit of the authority (Part C).
