Limits tolls charged on trucks entering the central business district.
This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to limit the number of tolls charged on trucks entering the central business district to once per day. The bill also prohibits the establishment of tolls on passenger vehicles registered pursuant to subdivision six of section four hundred one of the vehicle and traffic law and trucks as defined in section one hundred fifty-eight of the vehicle and traffic law more than once per day for purposes of entering the central business district. The act shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it becomes law.
