Exempts certain adolescent offenders from being removed to family court.
This bill amends the criminal procedure law to exempt adolescent offenders who displayed a shotgun, rifle, or deadly weapon in furtherance of an offense, or who were illegally in possession of a loaded firearm, from those authorized to be removed to family court. The changes take effect on November 1 following the date the act becomes law.
