The bill enacts the "local, community and ethnic media commitment act," which mandates state agencies to publish certain information in local, community and ethnic media. It defines local, community and ethnic media as print or digital publications that create community-specific content for geographically contiguous areas or communities based on native language, race, color, gender, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or immigrant status. The Office of General Services is required to develop and maintain a list of these media outlets.
