This bill amends the election law to allow the board of elections to employ election inspectors or poll clerks to work split shifts with adjusted compensation. It requires that at least one election inspector and one poll clerk from each of the two major political parties must be present at the poll site for the entire time the polls are open. Each county board of elections must establish the necessary rules and procedures to ensure proper poll site operation. The act takes effect immediately.
