This bill amends the education law to allow a licensed pharmacist to order and administer certain tests, including those for respiratory syncytial virus, pharyngitis, HbA1c, hepatitis C, and HIV. These tests must be authorized by the Food and Drug Administration and comply with the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments. The changes take effect immediately and are set to expire on July 1, 2028.
