Adds certain human services programs to the designated human services programs eligible for a cost of living adjustment.
This bill establishes a cost of living adjustment (COLA) for designated human services programs in New York State. The COLA applies to programs and services funded, licensed, or certified by various state offices, including mental health, people with developmental disabilities, addiction services, temporary and disability assistance, children and family services, victim services, health, and aging. The adjustment is effective April 1, 2026, and is inclusive of all other cost of living type increases, inflation factors, or trend factors.
