Establishes the school mental health services program coordinator to provide public and nonpublic schools with mental health services professionals.

The bill establishes the school mental health services program coordinator to work with students, faculty, and other mental health professionals to identify, report, and address mental health issues. Public and nonpublic schools can employ or contract for these professionals. The commissioner will determine the qualifications for these coordinators. Schools can employ or contract for as many coordinators as needed. The bill also provides aid to school districts for employing or contracting these professionals, up to a maximum of $50,000 per district.
