Updates the definition of "reusable bag" in New York's environmental conservation law.

This bill amends the definition of "reusable bag" in the environmental conservation law to specify minimum material and durability standards. A reusable bag must be made of cloth or other machine washable fabric, or a durable plastic bag with handles. It must have a minimum fabric weight of eighty grams per square meter or equivalent for non-film plastic bags. The bag must also have a minimum lifespan of one hundred twenty-five uses, with a use equal to the ability to carry a minimum of twenty-two pounds over a distance of at least one hundred seventy-five feet.
