This bill amends the labor law to prohibit employers from requiring fingerprinting or mandatory iris and retina scanning of employees as a condition of securing or continuing employment. Exceptions are made for employees of the state, municipal subdivisions, legally incorporated hospitals, medical colleges affiliated with such hospitals, and private proprietary hospitals. The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
