Prohibits individuals with income over 125% of area median income from occupying certain housing accommodations.

This bill amends the Emergency Tenant Protection Act of 1974 and the Emergency Housing Rent Control Law to prohibit individuals with income exceeding 125% of the area median income from occupying certain housing accommodations. Tenants who currently occupy such accommodations and whose income exceeds this threshold will be exempt from civil penalties and eviction for the duration of their most recent lease agreement. After the lease ends, continued violation of this income requirement by the tenant will constitute grounds for eviction.
