Enacts the "New York religious freedom act" to protect religious freedom.

The New York religious freedom act prohibits state and local agencies from providing personally identifiable information about individuals' religious beliefs, practices, or affiliations to federal authorities for the purpose of compiling a list or database. It also prohibits the use of agency resources to investigate, enforce, or assist in the investigation or enforcement of any federal requirement that individuals register based on religion, national origin, or ethnicity. The act allows agencies to compile aggregate non-personally identifiable information and exchange it with other agencies.
