The resolution recognizes her achievements as a multi-sport athlete, coach, and educator. As a student-athlete, she excelled in field hockey, alpine skiing, and softball, setting records and winning sectional titles. She continued her athletic career at Miami University, where she set the school record for career save percentage. After graduation, she coached at Central Michigan University and returned to Rome to teach physical education and health.
