This resolution honors Brendan Mitchell for his induction into the Schenectady City School District Athletic Hall of Fame on September 15, 2025. It recognizes his achievements, including leading his 1985-86 team at Potsdam State to an undefeated 32-0 record and winning the Division III National Championship. Mitchell also shared the SUNYAC Men's Tournament record for field goals in a game, was the 1987 SUNYAC Tournament MVP, and the 1986-87 NCAA Division III National Player of the Year. He was invited to try out for the USA National Team and the NBA pre-draft camp.
