New York Senate Resolution 490 commemorates the 60th anniversary of Greater Adirondack Home Aides, a non-profit organization founded in 1965 in Glens Falls. The organization was established to provide trained professionals to assist families during times of illness and stress, as well as the elderly in their daily living activities. Over the years, it has expanded its services to include Washington and Saratoga Counties, and now employs over 80 trained aides.
