Authorizes the use of videoconferencing for legislative meetings in New York, with certain conditions.

This bill authorizes the New York Senate and Assembly to implement a system of videoconferencing for conducting meetings, in compliance with article 7 of the Public Officers Law. A quorum must be physically present in the same location where the public can attend. Videoconferencing is not allowed for hearings. Legislators can participate via videoconferencing if physically unable to attend, subject to approval by the appropriate leader. The resolution takes effect immediately upon adoption and remains in effect until a specified part of Chapter 56 of the Laws of 2022 expires.
