This bill authorizes the city of New York to discontinue certain parkland in the borough of Queens and transfer it to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The parkland will be used to enable the New York City Transit Authority to construct a new signal tower facility and track crossover. The discontinuance and alienation of the parkland will not occur until the city complies with any federal requirements pertaining to the alienation or conversion of such parklands.
