This bill amends the administrative code of the city of New York to expand the types of conduct that qualify as harassment of tenants. It adds new subparagraphs to the list of prohibited actions, including withdrawing unauthorized funds from a tenant's bank account, repeatedly violating certain rent-related conduct, furnishing false or misleading rent statements, refusing to reimburse or apply rent credits, and commencing non-payment proceedings for rent that is not due or has already been tendered.
