New York A10265 amends the administrative code of the city of New York to introduce a new section providing an excess differential offset for paraprofessionals employed by the board of education. This offset is to be provided for each fiscal year commencing on or after July 1, 2025. The offset is calculated based on the difference between the current differential and the base differential, divided by the average highest salary for principals and the average minimum salary for paraprofessionals over the preceding 20 fiscal years.
